The Visual Works of

Beth Dacey

Beth Dacey's images, rendered in quiet light and color, range from the nostalgic to the immediate. Whether in her landscapes, still life, or most recently, in her emotional treatments of figures, like those found in old photographs, Beth conveys a context and a connectedness to her subjects.

Beth is a member of the SOWA Artists Guild. She has studied painting privately, as well as at the museum schools at the DeCordova in Lincoln, MA and at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. She has a BA and MA from Boston College and, for a number of years, taught writing and literature there.

Beth lives in the South End of Boston and is now a full time painter in her Boston based studio.
